September at Onramp.money — A Month of Milestones and Growth! 🚀
The 9th month of the year has been an exciting journey for Onramp.money, marked by a series of significant milestones. We’ve seamlessly integrated multiple blockchain networks, introduced a variety of new tokens for instant purchase with traditional currencies, collaborated with multiple wallet providers, secured investment from Algorand Ventures, expanded to Indonesia and Nigeria, and more!
- New Fiat Currency Support: NGN & IDR: Onramp Money now supports Nigerian Naira (NGN) and Indonesian Rupiyah (IDR), enabling crypto enthusiasts in these countries to fund their crypto wallets via instant bank transfers. In the near future, we’ll expand to more countries like Chile, Colombia, Peru, the UK, Europe, Kenya, and beyond. This move positions Onramp Money to revolutionize digital asset access and investment through instant bank transfers in some of the world’s largest and well-regulated crypto markets. - Secured investment from Algorand Ventures: Major milestone in Onramp.money’s journey. Algorand Ventures, a leader in the blockchain and Web3 space, has chosen to invest in Onramp.money, a fiat-to-crypto onramp solution originating from India to help in the worldwide adoption of Web3.0 solutions
New Blockchain integrations: Onramp has introduced new players to its blockchain lineup: Polygon zkEVM Chain, FIO, and IOTA. 🌐Web3 projects on these networks can now team up with Onramp, giving their users access to crypto using fiat. Plus, tokens built on these networks can be added to Onramp in just one day, making it easy to buy them with fiat in under 60 seconds!
- Polygon zkEVM : is a development in the world of Ethereum-compatible blockchains. It combines zero-knowledge proofs (zk-proofs) and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) to create a scalable and secure blockchain solution.
- FIO Protocol: The FIO Protocol, which stands for “Foundation for Interwallet Operability Protocol,” is a technology designed to enhance the usability and interoperability of cryptocurrencies and blockchain assets. It aims to simplify the way people interact with blockchain networks and manage their digital assets
- IOTA: IOTA is an open-source distributed ledger and cryptocurrency designed for the Internet of things. It uses a directed acyclic graph to store transactions on its ledger, motivated by higher scalability over blockchain based distributed ledgers.
New Token Support Addition
- $FIRO: With Addition for support for $FIRO Token on Onramp.money, it could now be purchased across web3 including Firo cold wallet : Firo Protocol is making headlines as a champion of privacy and decentralization. The integration of Firo Protocol on Onramp Money enabled users from India, Turkey, UAE, Mexico, Vietnam, and Nigeria to seamlessly purchase $FIRO tokens directly with instant bank transfers and in their local fiat currencies.
- $ALPACA in Alpaca Finance: Onramp also added support for the native token of Alpaca finance $ALPACA. Now Buy ALPACA with INR /TRY/AED/MXN/NGN/VND/IDR
- $HIPP: $HIPP token is now added to Onramp.money, & could be purchased from the Onramp.money website, Hippo Website, across all supporting Exchanges & Wallets like Metamask.
- $USDV: Onramp.money Expanded Horizons for Vyvo Smart Chain, Adding Support for USDV Token, a stablecoin, allowing users from India to purchase USDV with INR.

El Hippo, Fox Wallet, IOPAY Wallet by Iotex, Plug Wallet, Ottr Finance, Tonkeeper have now added Onramp.money

El Hippo: For El hippo’s community from 🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates, 🇹🇷 Turkey, 🇮🇳 India, 🇮🇩 Indonesia, and 🇲🇽 Mexico, El hippo has integrated onramp.money on its platform enabling direct purchase of the $HIPP token through its website itself in less than a minute through instant bank transfers. This is handy for anyone who doesn’t have crypto on hand and wants to make a low-fee investment in $HIPP in as few steps as possible. IOPAY wallet by Iotex: IoTeX’s IoPay 2.0 is here, now integrated with Onramp Money, bringing crypto access to users in India, Mexico, UAE, Vietnam, Turkey, Nigeria, and Indonesia. It’s your passport to the crypto world
Plug Wallet: Plug Wallet is an innovative mobile wallet that harnesses the potential of the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). As a mobile wallet built on the powerful Internet Computer (ICP) protocol, Plug Wallet is taking a leap forward by integrating Onramp’s support for INR transactions and enabling instant purchase of ICP tokens via UPI and IMPS
Ottr Finance: Ottr Finance, through its partnership with Onramp Money, is enabling its users to directly transact USDC via bank transfers, providing users with a more seamless and user-friendly experience, bringing the world of cryptocurrencies one step closer to the masses
Tonkeeper: Tonkeeper, the mobile-based, non-custodial wallet designed to cater exclusively to Toncoin (TON) users on The Open Network. Onramp Money and Tonkeeper have forged a partnership that allows users from India, Turkey, Mexico, UAE, Nigeria, and Indonesia to buy $TON directly through the Tonkeeper wallet using their local fiat currencies via instant bank transfers.

On its mission to equip Cyber Police Officials, making crypto a safer place, and fostering a seamless Web3 & Crypto Ecosystem, Onramp had the privilege of hosting a Crypto Investigation Training Session for the CENPS North Division, Bangalore Police. Leading the charge was Suraj Sharma, our Head of Public Policy & Govt Affairs at Onramp.money & Manjunath P, Head of Payments at Onramp.money.
